With Halloween about a week away, now's the time to get that brain in gear to get some ideas for dressing up. And no, you can't go as Iron Man AGAIN this year.

Once you get that all sorted out, check out the 4th annual HALLOWBALOO street festival happening in Chinatown. This year promises to be the biggest year yet, with FOUR days of activities, getting you in the mood for the big day next Monday.

The activities start on Thursday with the Hallowbaloo Electronica Pre-Party featuring BATHS along with Lapwing and DJ Packo. This all goes down at NextDoor (43 Hotel St.) at 9pm.

Friday night will be the Hallowbaloo Kick-Off Concert featuring WARPAINT, PAPER DIAMOND (along with Kalalea Fire fire dancers), and Hawaii's own CLONES OF THE QUEEN. This event goes down at 830pm at The Waterfront at Aloha Tower.

Saturday night is the Hallowbaloo Street Festival. Starting at 5pm, it's Hawaii's largest live music showcase with 35+ bands & DJs spread across 6 stages. Also, there's Club Hallowbaloo going down with one wristband granting you access to EIGHT clubs throughout the night (Soho Mixed Media Bar, Bar 35, the Venue, NextDoor, Manifest, Lotus Downtown, The Loft Gallery & Lounge, Mercury Bar). Don't forget about the costume contest, and something called Zombie Alley. This all goes down in Chinatown on Nu'uanu Avenue.

Sunday features the Hallowbaloo Kanikapila at Kaimana Beach Park, at the foot of Diamond Head. This kanikapila will be headlined by Guy Cruz (with Marc Pearlman) and Medicine For The People. This free event runs from 3-6pm.

Finally, Monday is Halloween in Waikiki. The festivities on Kalakaua Avenue will start around 7pm, so get there early to get into the mix and into the activities before it gets really crazy.
