FOURCOLORZACK x Kicks/HI "Weekday Warrior 3"

Fourcolorzack-weekday-warrior-3-cover
Kicks/HI has teamed up with SuperHandsome DJ and Seattle native FOURCOLORZACK for the third edition of his "Weekday Warrior" mixtape series. This mixtape commemorates the fact that FOURCOLORZACK will be spinning at a Shake & Pop in the coming month (Oct. 22nd).

I had the pleasure of hearing FCZ at what used to be the War Room (now HG Lodge) in Seattle. AMAZEBALLS doesn't even start to describe it.

NEW! Fitted Hawaii LEILANI x H Pride snapback

The Fitted Hawaii ohana is starting off the 10th month of 2011 with a couple of new pieces. First up is a new shirt called "LEILANI" that hearkens back to the classic 1950s styling of Hawaii tourism. Back when flying was actually an event, when people would dress up and show up at the airport 15 minutes before the flight left and just saunter onto the plane. It's on that level of vintage.

Also releasing is a H PRIDE hat, this time done up in a snapback style and styled out in the home team colors of black and yellow. The colors not only shout out the Fitted crew, but also serves as a reminder of the upcoming Wiz Khalifa show.

Both pieces drop this Saturday at the Kona St. headquarters. For more info, check out www.fittedhawaii.com

Eat The Street this Friday

Ets9poster-sm1
It's the last Friday of the month... you know what time it is...

(yes, we know... SOUL CLAP... but...)

The monthly Food Truck expo goes down this Friday, as Eat The Street invades Kaka'ako. After a successful run in Mililani a few weeks ago, they'll be back in their usual spot at 555 South Street, near Restaurant Row.

Look for all your favorite food trucks to be there, giving you special deals with the Malama Card and offering up dishes based on this month's theme: LOCAL.

Also going down is the next round of the lightsleepers Ink Spills battle, this time pitting Dodge vs. Ownah.

This all goes down from 4p-9p this Friday in Kaka'ako. For more info, check out www.streetgrindz.com

NEW! fitted Hawaii KAKAU x Kamehameha (Green/Black)

Releasing tomorrow is another one of Fitted's throwbacks that they've brought back by popular demand. This one was released around the holidays in 2009, but not in the colorway you see here today. The 2009 version was black on a dark grey shirt. The 2011 version does it up on white, with a black/white graphic.

Also releasing is a new Kamehameha in green and black. Just in time to support the UH football Warriors, the Rainbow Wahine volleybal teams and the upcoming men's basketbal season.

This drops tomorrow morning at the Kona St. headquarters. For more, check out www.fittedhawaii.com

NEW! Fitted Hawaii "SANDS OF KALALAU" pack

This Saturday's Fitted Hawaii release shouts out the Garden Isle and it's unmatched and untapped beauty. Drawing inspiration from the magestic all terrain trail of Kalalau, this set brings a very nature feel to the often harsh urban environment of Honolulu.

First up is a new ripstop nylon snapback. The graphic draws inspiration from the deep blue Pacific Ocean, as seen from Space Rock, a massive rock formation that juts out into the ocean. A white snap adds to the freshness.

Also releasing is a mens tank top and a women's deep v-neck with a graphic inspired by the untouched sands along the Kalalau trail, created over the years by the wind patterns that hit the beach. Note: the underbrim of the snapback also features the same logo.

This set releases this Saturday at the Kona St. headquarters. For more, check out www.fittedhawaii.com
