NEW! Westafa x J Boog x Fitted Hawaii

This is one of the bigger releases that the Fitted Hawaii Ohana has ever dropped. The Fitted Ohana has teamed up with international superstar J Boog and his touring DJ, DJ Westafa.

First up, DJ Westafa designed his own PRIDE H hat, with a black upper, brown logo, digital camouflage patterned brim, and a gold Fitted crest. Next, J Boog designed his very own New Era, featuring an all black design in corduroy. The CPT logo on the hat is a shout out to Boog's hometown of Compton, California. The underbrim is in black satin and features J Boog's signature. The finishing touch is the satin lining on the hat, which features both the American and Western Samoa flags.

The FItted shirt releasing along with the pack is a black number with the Fitted crest on the front, filled in with white trilocks. The back features Westafa x J Boog x Fitted, outlined in red, gold, and green.

Finally, as a special bonus, for everyone who purchases any of the pieces of this pack, they'll be blessed with a special Westafa mixtape featuring some of J Boog's more well known songs, along with exclusive. Free with every purchase.

These pieces all release this Saturday both in-store at the Kona St. headquarters and online at www.fittedhawaii.com

One of the biggest urban culture events of the year and part of the (un)official Triple Crown of BBoying, APEX 2011 goes down this Saturday at the Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii. Featuring TWO crew vs. crew battles (all style and BBoy); an MC and blackbook battle; music by DJs UNE and Yogert; tons of live performances; a lowrider bike showoff; a car show; a PS3 battle arena; and a ton of other stuff.

This event promises to be one of the biggest events of the Summer, so be there to catch some of the glory. This all goes down this Saturday night at the Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii (1704 Waiola St., behind Washington Intermediate).

A portion of the proceeds go to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hawaii. Find out more about their work at www.bgch.com

Eat The Street - June edition

Ets6postersm
This month's Eat the Street theme is PIG OUT, which I can only hope there's tons of pork (and BACON!) products available. Also going down is part two of the InkSpillz battles hosted by the lightsleepers. This month, it's PRIME vs. ESTRIA. For those not in the know, it's a black ink/white canvas/no theme battle. Should be fun.

Of course, you have tons of food vendors and the trucks... oh yes, the trucks.

This all goes down on 555 South Street in Kaka'ako from 4-9pm. For more info, check out www.streetgrindz.com
