Eat The Street part 2

Eat-the-street-poster
Street Grindz, in association with NonstopHonolulu and Kamehameha Schools, will be presenting the Second Eat The Street event this Friday. This time around, they'll be located in Kaka'ako. The last event was an amazing success, so much so that they needed a much bigger venue the second time around.

Twenty four food trucks have signed up for the event and the anticipation is thick from last month's event. Lines were practically out of sight and the wait for some spots stretched to almost 90 minutes just to order. Suffice to say, with more food selections, this shouldn't be much of a problem this time around.

Hopefully.

The list of vendors include:

Melt Honolulu, Gogi Korean Tacos, Soul Patrol, Xtreme Tacos, Stacy’s LauLau and Grindz, Malia’s Pasteles and Poke, T.A.S.T.E., Let Them Eat Cupcakes, Dixie Grill, Elena’s Home of Finest Filipino Foods, Zsoli’s Chimney Cake, Le Crepe Cafe, Camille’s on Wheels, Jawaiian Irie Jerk, Lickety Split, The Cafe Truck, Kaka’ako Kool, Fairy Cakes Hawaii, Simply Ono, 4 Caterers, Tacos Vicente, Whys Catering, Aloha Ice Cream Tricycles and Hawaii Hot Dogs.

There will also be music provided by KTUH's DJ Mr. nick and producer extraordinaire TKO. Also look for a booth from PhotoOps Hawaii to chronicle the whole event.

This all goes down this Friday night from 5-9pm at 555 South Street in Kakaako. For more info, check out:

NEW! Fitted Hawaii "One Nation" x Kamehameha

Coming at you with more heat that Dwyane Wade's twisted ankle, the two new pieces from the Fitted Ohana is sure to please many. The shirt release is called one nation and overlays the Hawaiian flag over a silhouette of the United States. WIN. Black graphic on a red shirt is Derrick Rose nice.

Also releasing is a new colorway of the Kamehameha New Era: duck canvas (green) with black detailing, red button and underbill. A great look to rock with some new kicks. Just not this week because the rain is supposedly coming with a fury. Which apparently makes this duck canvas piece even more clutch.

Both drop today at the Kona St. headquarters.

NEW! Fitted Hawaii "Honolulu's Finest" x Mittens

New Fitted Hawaii release coming down the pipe today. First up is a new set called "Honolulu's Finest" featuring a shirt and New Era featuring a stylized "Honolulu" font. Meant to represent the city, this set is sure to let everyone know what it is.

Also releasing is a new shirt called "Mittens" featuring a pair of cartoon hands covered in blood splatter. Definitely an ironic twist on the Fist City graphic from a few years back.

Both pieces drop today at the Kona St. headquarters.
